Born and raised in Texas, I started my passion for photography at a young age. From my first camera in the late 1980s, a Kodak Star 110, all the way to my current lineup of Nikon DSLRs, it seems I always had a camera in hand. Traveling and photography go hand in hand for most people. Over the last 20 years of traveling, a camera has been by my side to document experiences and capture special moments to ensure they will not be forgotten. In 2013, my love affair with the African wildlife photographic safari experience began. Visits to camps in Botswana and South Africa fueled the desire to return in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020. Along with wildlife photography, my interests have gravitated towards photographic opportunities around water and family portraits.
I reside in Houston along with my wife, Amanda, and children, Jake, Annerie and Massie.
